Distance Healing
Energy work is as old as humanity. Ancient energy balancing practices such as tai chi, qi gong, yoga, shiatsu and reiki have stood the test of time and remain integral part of life in many eastern countries.
Energy medicine is based on the knowledge that, at the subtlest level, everything in existence is comprised of particles and waves of energy, including human beings. Our 'physical' body, mind, thoughts, emotions and spirit are simply different densities and frequencies of energy. Our physical body comprises the densest layer of energy, which we can easily perceive with our five senses. Our personal energy also radiates out as a 'field' - often called the aura or auric field - perceived as layers that correlate with our mental, emotional and spiritual states of being.
Unresolved injuries, emotional trauma, negative thought patterns and unhealthy behaviours show up as symptoms and imbalances in the flow of energy in and around our body. Energy work helps to restore free-flowing movement to our energy field. 'Healing' means "to become whole" - in other words to restore balance and harmony to our whole being. Passive forms of energy work include Reiki - the channelling of universal, life-force energy to bring about healing and to restore energetic harmony (for oneself or another person). Active techniques such as shiatsu, acupuncture, cranio-sacral therapy and intuitive healing use precise methods to help release energy blockages and restore free-flowing energy/motion.
Distance or Remote Healing works because, as Quantum Physics proves, energy can be positively influenced and transformed, even from a distance. There are many benefits to receiving remote healing, from the comfort of one's own home. Some common ones include deep relaxation, tension/stress reduction, the release of old 'holding patterns' (stemming from stress, postural imbalance, injury or trauma). nervous system support and rebalancing, improved sleep and emotional wellbeing, greater self-insight and a deeper sense of inner peace.
